AI Transparency

Our approach is deterministic-first: wherever possible, VectorOS runs on transparent, predictable rules rather than guesses. AI is used to assist — to draft, summarize, and suggest — while the important decisions remain yours. Vector proposes; you decide.

AI-assisted features may include:

• summarizing notes, meetings, and long content;
• suggesting priorities, plans, and next actions;
• drafting content and helping you capture ideas by voice or text;
• understanding uploaded or imported documents and extracting entities from them; and
• generating research or recommendations to review.

Some AI features are optional and only run when enabled or when you invoke them.

Core actions in VectorOS are deterministic. Commands are interpreted by transparent rules, changes are shown to you as a preview before anything is written, and nothing is executed until you confirm it. When an AI provider is unavailable, VectorOS falls back to deterministic processing so the product keeps working.

Recommendations combine your own workspace information — the opportunities, tasks, people, and goals you have created — with deterministic scoring and, where enabled, AI assistance to explain or prioritize. Recommendations are suggestions for you to consider, not instructions, and they reflect the information available to VectorOS, which may be incomplete.

• AI can be confidently wrong; outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
• AI does not provide professional advice (legal, financial, medical, tax, or otherwise).
• AI does not understand your full context or intentions the way you do.
• Imports and document understanding can miss, duplicate, or misread information.

You choose when to use AI features, you review what they produce, and you confirm changes before they are saved. You can edit or delete AI-generated content, and you can rely on the deterministic parts of the product without AI.

When you use an AI feature, the content you submit may be processed by our third-party AI provider, Google Gemini, solely to return a result to you. Separately, if you use server-side voice transcription, the audio you submit is sent to OpenAI to produce a transcript. Your requests may be processed by these providers in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices. VectorOS does not use your audio recordings or transcripts to train its own AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Because AI can make mistakes, you should review AI outputs, summaries, imports, and recommendations before relying on or acting on them. You remain responsible for your decisions. Used this way — as a fast, transparent assistant that you check — AI makes VectorOS more helpful without taking control away from you.
